Dunk Tank at Department of Corrections

Corrections officers dip into wallets, splash commanders

Published by The Prince George’s Sentinel

Private Erik Wood spent $15 for nine yellow softballs – the chance to dunk his captains on Monday afternoon. In-between taunts, laughs and juvenile puns about balls, the county’s emergency response team hurled softballs to dunk senior officers at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.

It was a fundraiser for the Pencil Box Project, an initiative that will provide school supplies for elementary students in Transforming Neighbor Initiative areas.
